Firm Foundantion 2009

올 BYG 사역주제인 Firm Foundation... 

"Firm Foundation" is the theme of BYG ministry this year. 

다민족, 다문화 속에서 수많은 과학이론과 

사상, 테크날로지 속에서 자라는 세대... 

언어와 문화가 다른 부모님 세대와 있는 외로움의 장벽 속에서 

자기 자신을 발견해 나가지 못하는 세대... 

앞으로 어떤 사람이 되어야 할지, 

무엇을 하며 살아야 할지를 모르는 세대.. 

We are the generation: 

[1] that live in current streams of scientific theories, 

knowledge, and technology 

in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural cummunity. 

[2] that live in gap and barrier of 

different culture/language from parents. 

Obviously that situation causes us 

to have domestic disunity/solitude 

and personal uncetainty ahout identity. 

[3] that are not sure about who we are going to be 

and what we are gonna do for a living. 

이 모든것에 대한 닮은 Jesus Christ 이고 복음이다. 

Jesus Chris is the only key to resolving our generational/domestic problems. 

The Gospel is the only solution to answer the questions 

that we have as Korean-American immigrants 

regarding uncertainty about ID & future.

 

그래서 우리가  신앙 안에서 

완전히 우리의 trust 와 faith, 그리고 future 를 

그분께 맡길 때 놀라운 역사가 일어날 것이다.

JDSN hopes that through encounter(s) with God 

we will put our firm foundation 

on faith and trust in our mighty God.

When we do so, 

miraculous things will happen to BYG. 

We are the generation 

of Firm Foundation in Faith & Love with JESUS. 

올 한해 이 모든 아이들이 

믿음의 Firm Foundation 을 만들어 가기를 기도한다. 

This is my prayer 

that they will completely lay down firm foundation in faith.
